Project | The Function of Exclusionary Anti-Immigrant Rhetoric to French Youth
This paper will examine the far-right youth group Génération Identitaire (GI) and its proclamations in order to call attention to the ways in which GI’s discourse redefines French identity, and also how the figure of the “other” may discriminate between “Muslims” and “foreigners.
